Alles begann Ende der 1999er Jahre mit einem Chalet in einem französischen Skigebiet, in dem Rosemary Walsh all ihren Gästen allabendlich nach dem Abendessen Irish Coffee servierte. Arbeits- und Zeit-intensiv. Um die aufwändige Zubereitung des Irish Coffee entspannter zu gestalten, gründeten die Eheleute Walsh den „Hot Irishman“ und füllten von nun an nach ihrem eigenen, perfekten Rezept Irish Coffee in Flaschen ab.
Zwei Jahre später bezog die Firma Urglin....
